Postcard Swap

Today is parade day for the postcard swap hosted by Elm Street Quilts. The card I made (you can read more about it here) and sent was to Nanette she doesn't have a blog but is on IG. Always a concern when making something for someone you don't know.

the card I made

The word I gave for my card was rose. I love roses especially teas, if the weather starts to behave itself my roses can come out of hibernation. Enough snow already, yesterday we had snow then rain and more snow uck.

rose the card I received

Glen from Quilts and Dogs sent me a lovely rose postcard. Thank you Glen!

Now go check out all the other great little works of art at Elm Street Quilts.

I am looking for testers, if you are interested send me an email.

Craftsy is having a Spring sale on their classes Save 50 to 60% off 100's of classes.

Hope you get to quilt today!

  5. I just love your little house you made and the rose you got in return is wonderful! I got to smell roses this past week, in a vase from my daughter for my birthday. Will be a while before any bloom around here; we had flurries but nothing much stuck, on Friday, but in Windsor a fair bit stuck. Always odd how the lake effect affects the weather! Hope you get some testers. I am beyond crazy right now, sorry but your designs, if it's one from the challenge, are SO FABULOUS, I wish I could!

  7. Love the wonky house. It looks warm and cozy :-) Tester? I am intrigued - a block is easy, a quilt takes more than that.

  8. The design of your postcard is fantastic. Its an attractively decorated postcards and appeal to me. I think a very virtuous way to signal localized marketing is finished postcards. Manhattan Personal Injury Attorney
