Poinsettia table topper |
I decided what size I wanted, cut four of the main fabric, accent or backing and batting. There is a pattern I believe I didn't use it though. Stitched them together, turned, pressed and top stitched. Stitched down the four extra petals and added a decorative button from my assortment of buttons.

I am so sorry for this mess! I call this an unforeseen requirement that requires one to pull their hair out and scream! Take care and hope the week brings you some good things! Love the Poinsettia.Hugs
I'd not only be screaming; I'd be bawling. I absolutely LOVE tulip trees, and I've cried a bit over the rabbits that eat my baby one a neighbour gave me a year and a half ago. I think I need to wrap it to protect it this winter from the little uh furry friends... I love that poinsettia centrepiece and I can immediately see how you did it - very cool, a squirrel indeed and still time to link it up in November's linky or save it until December's! We didn't get any of your storm thank goodness though as you know it affected our daughter and grandson's return-to-home flights.
Hi Cindy: I am having to do some catch up here I've already given you my sympathies for the tree. I stayed in all day through the storm. We were supposed to go in to Toronto but changed our minds. The quilting looks great and I love your bowl full of buttons.
