I am thrilled to be introducing my latest quilt pattern 'Squared Off'. This quilt uses three fabrics plus the background and would be a fun scrappy quilt. I have been wanting to make a quilt using fall colours. Mission accomplished. So without further ado here is Squared Off.

A very heartfelt thank you to both of these wonderful ladies for testing and the great feedback.
As an added bonus leave a comment to win a free copy of 'Squared Off', here and on Anja's and Kathy's blogs. The contest will be open until August 31st. That's three winners so make sure to comment.

the back doesn't show the quilting too well |
The back is a busy print which doesn't show the quilting, bonus any mistakes are hidden. Not that I would ever make any mistakes... LOL I used a flange binding which has fast become my favourite binding to do.

The pattern is available in my Craftsy store. With the removal by Craftsy of most of my patterns, this pattern will be available in my Etsy store.
Congratulations! I enjoyed testing the pattern. It's amazing how much your version looks so much different than mine -- all because of colour choices. Well done.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win a copy of this pattern. It would make a great graduation quilt for my grandchildren.

ReplyDeleteIt really does look different in each of the colorways. Having 3 sizes is also a bonus. I'm going to have to look up more about flange binding - thanks for the term. Thanks for the chances to win your new pattern! Did you IG this? dezertsuz at gmail
ReplyDeleteWhat a great pattern. All three versions are SO different. I am partial to yours as I see flowers among the deep, rich colours of fall. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteCindy this is BEAUTIFUL!!! You captured the black quilting on the black fabric so well too! That is a cool motif. Congrats on another great pattern, and yahoo for flanged binding right?
ReplyDeleteIt is so pretty.. The creative mind never stops seeing visual patterns of future works or new sewing techniques to professionally finish the quilt design.
