Sad to say we are enemies on one point though...Blue Jays: ppffftt! Go Tigers! I love being barefoot, but I have issues with cold feet if it's below 72 or 22C yay for Florida in Canadian winters. Oh. My. Gosh. how I love those 3 quilts. That Justin's Path is my favourite, but Four-Patch Frenzy tied with Spring has Sprung a very close second. I love patchwork paired with appliqué. Beautiful quilts. What type of applique is that? It really adds a whole other dimension to the feel of the quilt. I'm the opposite of you, by the way, shoe-wise. Unless I'm in bed you rarely will find me with bare feet. I hate the feeling of stepping on things with bare feet and with five kids there always seems to be toys, crumbs, etc. on the floors. And I feel like having bare feet slows me down, productivity wise. So even though in the summer, its always a good pair of flips flops (not the cheap thin kind), I always have shoes on. It depends on what the pattern is as to how fiddly I get with instructions. If it's repeating blocks, I tend to just keep the pattern open in front of me, but occasionally I will photocopy a pattern just for the purposes of being able to cross things off as I get to them.

I watch the occasional Aussie Rules game, but they're generally not played here until we get to finals season. I'm not a huge sports fan, but if somewhere local is playing the grand final, I will go out for that.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08418169224144166311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8623537535040275982.post-22445175257110619302015-07-13T10:58:03.194-07:002015-07-13T10:58:03.194-07:00Fantastic quilting tip. My husband isn't a fan of most (any?) sports, but I enjoy the hiking, adventures, and travel we have substituted in our lives. I moved around quite a bit myself, so I can relate to that.
